About Calvert City, KY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Calvert City is a small community positioned in western Kentucky. It is located in Marshall County and was home to about 2,500 people in 2016 according to the Census Bureau. The community is located about 18 miles east of Paducah, Kentucky and about 120 miles northwest of Nashville, Tennessee. Calvert City is positioned along the banks of the Tennessee River and is located a few miles from the Illinois state line.
Similar to many western Kentucky communities, the site of present-day Calvert City was originally occupied by Native American Indians. Eventually, European settlers arrived in the area. With the arrival of Europeans came the Jackson Purchase in 1818. Under the purchase, much of the land that belonged to local Native Americans were given to Europeans. If the Jackson Purchase had not occurred, Calvert City would not be what it is today. In 1871, Calvert City was incorporated. The development a railroad depot in the community encouraged many individuals to move to Calvert City. The railroad and arrival of new residents paved the way for the future success of the community. Today, Calvert City is a beautifully developed community that is home to parks, quaint neighborhoods, and an excellent quality of life.
Weather patterns in Calvert City vary greatly throughout the seasons. Because of this, residents in the community find it necessary to have efficient heating and cooling systems installed in their homes. These systems help residents stay comfortable inside their homes when extreme weather is present in Calvert City. Temperatures during the summer seasons can climb to the mid-90s. In the months of winter, temperatures can dip well below freezing. Professional HVAC technicians are best suited to install heating and cooling systems in the homes of Calvert City residents. This practice ensures the systems are installed efficiently and are prepared to withstand plenty of use.
